FIT Studio is a gym that provide clients with the guidance and tools that enable them to surpass their individual fitness and wellness goals. We train beginners and workout warriors of all fitness levels. We offer a high-energy environment, music and fun, ongoing support, goal setting, motivation, and opportunity to transform your body.

Our team of talented certified instructors and trainers are proud to offer innovative fitness programs for the men, women and teens in our community.

About
Jodi Miller

Certified Fitness Trainer and Owner

Since 1998, her areas of expertise in group fitness include: BODYSTEP, Barre, Core, BODYPUMP, TRX Suspension Training, Spin, Athletic Conditioning and Interval Training. She holds three certifications with Les Mills, including BODYSTEP, BODYPUMP and CXWORX, and is a certified Schwinn Cycling Instructor.  Jodi is an ACE certified personal trainer offering one-on-one and small group personal training, including TRX, for clients of all ages and fitness levels. In March of 2018, Jodi completed her 200 hour Yoga training program and is registered as a Yoga Alliance registered instructor.  Jodi’s prior years as a senior management executive reinforced for her the importance of client satisfaction – something she feels is essential in running a truly client-centered studio like FIT. An avid skier and outdoors person, Jodi makes fitness an integral part of her daily routine. Jodi, her husband and two daughters love being a part of the Coastside community.

Lele Keeton

CLASS FORMAT: BODYFLOW,  CXWORX, Pilates Mat

Lele has been taking Pilates instruction for 20+ years and has been teaching since 2006 when FIT first opened it’s doors. She is a Balanced Body Certified Comprehensive Pilates Instructor as well as a Certified Balanced Body Barre Instructor. She is also a Les Mills certified BODYFLOW and CXWORX instructor as well as SCW certified for Pilates Matwork, Pilates Small Apparatus and Group Strength. Lele is very passionate about sharing the benefits of Pilates. Her big thing is FORM FORM FORM!!! Her enjoyment of teaching is clear to anyone taking her class, and she is always eager to share her knowledge, having received her Bachelor’s degree in Community Health Education. Lele is a longtime resident of El Granada and is happily married with 2 twenty-something young men. Lele is also co-owner of HMBPilates in Moss Beach www.hmbpilates.com.

Melissa McGuirk

CLASS FORMAT: Cycle,Core, HIIT, Tank Top Arms Abs & Glutes

Melissa has always had a passion for clean-eating and exercise and is thrilled to be part of the FIT Studio team. Her enthusiasm and positive energy for creating a well-balanced, healthy, and happy lifestyle for her clients and class participants can be felt throughout the studio. She is a certified personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and is trained in both TRX and Schwinn Cycle programs. Her love for full-body workouts makes her a great leader in both cardio and strength-based classes.

Melissa also leads ReBoot @ FIT, a 28-day guided nutrition, exercise, and wellness program designed to help you reset and rethink your nutrition choices while giving you a jumpstart on your weight loss goals. Melissa is accomplished in helping others find ways to make small changes to their daily habits that will have long-lasting effects.

Dawn Korth

CLASS FORMAT: Personal Training

Dawn became a certified personal trainer in 2012 and holds a Personal Fitness Trainer certification and a Sports Nutrition certification from AAAI (American Aerobic Association International) and ISMA (International Sports Medicine Association). She holds specialty certifications in Tabata and Bootcamp.

Dawn loves motivating and working with clients to help them reach their personal fitness goals. She believes fitness is a way of life and when she is not at the FIT Studio training with clients, she is working out herself. Dawn enjoys time with her husband and friends and she is a doggy mom to 3 dogs, Skipper, Widget and Teddy.

Karina Ballantyne

CLASS FORMAT: 

Karina lives by the belief that movement is medicine for both the mind and body. Years as a multi-sport competitive athlete inspired her to become a trainer and rehabilitative exercise specialist through ACSM. In addition to a degree in Exercise Physiology, Karina holds a degree in Psychology from UCSB. Certifications include Foundation Training, Restorative Exercise with Katy Bowman, and BASI Pilates. Dancing is her favorite way to move!

Paula Belloni, PhD

CLASS FORMAT: Body Pump, CX /CORE, Body Step, Freestyle step, Tabata cycle

Paula has balanced her passions for fitness, science and people, with dual careers in Personalized
Medicine/Drug Development and Fitness training for more than 40 years.  She initiated her career as
group exercise leader with Jackie Sorenson’s Aerobic Dancing in 1979 and over time developed her own
freestyle fitness classes that have evolved with the industry. She has received certifications in group
exercise by AFAA, ASFA and the YMCA, Les Mills BODYPUMP, BODYSTEP, CX/CORE, Tabata Bootcamp
and Tabata Cycle. Paula is committed to creating fun, safe and effective fitness experiences, good for
body, mind, and spirit.

Mishelle Westendorf

CLASS FORMAT: Cycle 

Mishelle has been an instructor since her first job in high school. Through the last 30 years fitness has been one of her greatest accomplishments. As a fitness instructor teaching Aerobics certified by Reebok, she had her first taste of helping other better their mind, body & soul.  Mishelle ran x-country for the University of Washington,  so her desire to stay fit and help others be the best they can mentally and physically came naturally.  Bodystep, Bootcamp, Spin, Cycle Core, Kick Boxing, Athletic Conditioning and her favorite-Interval Training to the Navy Seals/Aviators at three different Naval Air Stations. She holds many certificates IDEA, NIKE Elite training, Schwinn Cycling, REEBOK, ACE certified personal trainer/instructor to name a few.  Mishelle has donated her time to teaching  young boys & girls at certain clubs or community’s which is one of her greatest joys.

Margaret Haight

CLASS FORMAT: Boot Camp, Yoga, Cycle, Personal Training

Margaret has been in the fitness industry for over 30 years. She got her start teaching PE and coaching elementary school children while attending college. She is a certified Personal Fitness Trainer through NASM (National Association of Sports Medicine), E-RYT® 500 and  is a Certified Group Fitness Instructor through AAFA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America). She holds specialty certifications in Tabata Bootcamp, Schwinn Cycle, Body Training Systems Group Ride and Centergy, and Les Mills Cycle. In addition to fitness, Margaret resets her body through yoga, connecting to the physical and mental aspects of the practice. Margaret is committed to helping people push past their own mental barriers to achieve their fitness goals

I found the perfect personal trainer at Fit Studio! After my knee surgery, I desperately needed to work with someone who knew how the body functions and heals because I did not want to reinjure myself.
