Born in Silicon Valley, the journey to the coast was a long one. His training began with a combination of Wing Chun, Kung Fu, a black belt in Kempo Karate, and Tai Chi, with the latter sticking most prominently throughout the years. He currently teaches Karate in Half Moon Bay and the slow, moving meditation of Tai Chi is the foundation to his exercise routine.
This slow, deliberate, moving meditation of Tai Chi and its hidden martial application has always fascinated Angelo, and the joy of bringing this unique martial art to others is unparalleled. And if he has all but given up on the Ninja Turtle thing, teaching is definitely the next best thing!

CLIENT TESTIMONIALS
“I had been suffering from severe hip and leg pain in my right leg for over a year, causing me to lean awkwardly while walking. I had tried everything – physical therapy, chiropractor, etc. and nothing was relieving the pain. I have always been an active person, enjoying running, hiking, cycling and other outdoor sports so having my mobility impacted was devastating. Finally, I decided to try a personal trainer and contacted FIT Studio in Half Moon Bay. I was introduced to Charity Bailey.
From the beginning, Charity was understanding, observant, and precise with her coaching. She immediately saw that my issues were muscular and devised specific strength, stretching and balance exercises to tackle the problem. After four weekly sessions, I was feeling stronger, and the leg muscles were responding. Charity suggested massage therapy to complement the personal training and introduced me to an amazing massage therapist.
After seven sessions with Charity, and three with the massage therapist, I am pain free, and almost 100% walking normal. It is a huge relief to be able to move again without the pain in my hip and leg area. This recovery is a process, and I will continue my sessions with Charity. I am also working on upper body and core strength and feeling stronger each week. It is working! Thank-you Charity and FIT Studio.”
