What is TRX Suspension Training?

Suspension Training uses bodyweight exercises to develop strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously. Born in the Navy SEALs, It requires the use of the TRX Suspension Trainer, a highly portable performance training tool that leverages gravity and the user’s body weight to complete 100s of exercises.

What classes are offered at FIT?

TRX FIT

TRX FIT improves your cardio, builds muscular endurance, and promotes weight loss. You’ll experience several time-based endurance rounds, each one followed by a “heart thumping” cardio challenge! This class will push you to new levels of strength using the TRX Suspension Trainer and your own body weight to lead you down the road to your best all-around fitness.

TRX YOGA

TRX and yoga is the perfect hybrid to increase strength and flexibility. The TRX straps both add intensity to traditional yoga poses or support you in getting into poses you never thought possible (full backbend, anyone?), all while providing the functional core training TRX is famous for. Work your entire body and leave feeling calm, centered, and ready to take on the day.

  • “I love TRX!  The system allows you to adjust to the perfect level of fitness you are at, and then by modifying the position of your body, go to a higher level as your strength increases.  I can do squats and lunges with no knee pain!  “
